There has been a huge furore in this country regarding Sam Burgess with a lot of the RU media pretty much single-handedly blaming him for England's failure in the RU World Cup, along with others like Andy Farrell who were on the coaching staff. I think it will be a long time before we see another RL player poached by England RU.

I think it will be a long time before we see another RL player poached by England RU.

I agree that the whole Sam Burgess affair was a total fiasco which nobody will ever forget.


But "never" is a long time. Farrell himself might be seen as a failure as a convert, to some extent. There is an awful lot of money around these days, and it will be spent on the best available talent.
