Haha yeah, it's all because he plays for Manly  If you're going to use stats use tem properly. Also, if you want to talk about perspective, how about the fact that Perry was a starting prop in a winning NSW team? He's meant to lead the NSW pack but did he even make metres? The only forward who did worse in terms of metres per run (out of that insightful list you provided) was Crocker and he's a back rower in a losing side.
cosigan 41 metres (10.25m/run), 9 tackles
white 79 metres (7.9m/run), 18 tackles
tll 62 metres (7.75m/run), 10 tackles
thaiday 73 metres (7.3m/run), 21 tackles
waterhouse 58 metres (6.44m/run), 26 tackles
johnson 76 metres (6.33m/run), 38 tackles
price 69 metres (6.27m/run), 20 tackles
perry 69 metres (5.75m/run), 12 tackles
crocker 25 metres (5m/run), 24 tackles
Not only was Perry ineffective in attack he can't even fall back on his involvement in defence, like the likes of Price, Waterhouse and even Crocker can.
Even if you want to argue that Price was just as bad he's got years of brilliant performances at club and representative level to fall back on while Perry has maybe a decent year from last year and a handful of rep games where he has never stood out.
You could probably argue that TLL was just as "bad" but he's a rookie, Perry is supposed to be a seasoned campaigner.
He was on the field for like 20mins. And made alot more impact whilst he was on the field!
