I really don't think most ("more often than not" " wouldn't be too many that haven't") people treat each other this way.
If this is the level of respect in a relationship, the people involved need serious help.

This is absolutely not normal behavior.

It isn't evidence of guilt or otherwise in his court case, and I don't doubt that there are other sides to this story, but I re-iterate, most healthy people do not communicate like this.

I stand by my original point that this is not normal healthy relationship behaviour and it shouldn't be normalised with rubbish like "most couples argue like this"
but this is clearly not a normal situation or relationship. Probably justified blowing up if the story 9 is reporting is even halfway true.
On the other hand, maybe don't bring home random women you f**ked on a footy trip just because they claim they're pregnant haha

Where has anyone crucified him though mate?

All that I can really see (and certainly all I've said) is disputing comments that this is "normal" and saying he's a f**kwit.

Not sure either of those things are unfair comments regardless of the fact she's clearly also a f**kwit.

Well people were pretty quick to rip into him that he was a massive POS after a reactionary 30 second film clip.

I don’t think people were advocating that it was normal behaviour, but moreso put yourself in his shoes and see how you’d act.

People were definitely saying that kind of behaviour is how most couples argue.

I wouldn’t say it’s normal but it’s certainly not uncommon. If you think this is something truely heinous I wish I had had your upbringing and life.
Correct decision from the NRL to let him play with the new light that’s been brought on the case.

Yeah its certainly not uncommon unfortunately. I had friends whos parents would treat them like that, and they were not the worst parent I knew.

No one said it is how most people argue or it was normal for everybody. IIRC someone said it happens a lot and you took umbrage and said its not normal. Some other people said it happens a lot in their circles, its not uncommon, its normal for some people, etc.

On the other hand, maybe don't bring home random women you f**ked on a footy trip just because they claim they're pregnant haha

I don't get what is funny about this. What do you eastern suburbs lot do in this situation? Give em go away money?

Josh Reynolds (Wests Tigers)
On the information currently available to the NRL, Reynolds will not be subject to the No-Fault Stand Down.

The NRL Integrity Unit will continue to monitor his court proceedings closely.

Mr Greenberg said Reynolds was subject of a very complex matter.

"Josh Reynolds has been upfront and open about his situation. He proactively advised the Integrity Unit prior to the commencement of the police investigation and I would encourage other players to be as forthcoming. That said the allegation he faces is serious and we will continue to work with and receive updates about his situation from NSW Police."

The poster I originally replied to said, and i quote "there wouldnt be too many couples that havent argued like that"
Literally someone claiming most people do this.
I'm well aware it happens. I've seen it happen in my own family. I know people have poor upbringings.
Let's get away from the use of the word "normal" because it's confusing the issue.
I don't think it is how the majority of people function. And I think brushing it off, assuming that most people are like this behind closed doors, rather than questioning it, allows similar abuse to fester.

That said, none of this is really relevant to Josh anymore, as I don't think this is a typical relationship where both people are acting in good faith. If the report is in any way true this is a very very bizarre situation.

If someone you met once tells you she's pregnant months later are you bringing her into your life without a jot of proof?

Is this what happened?

No its not out of the realms of possibility, such that it would be a laughing matter. I wouldn't judge anyone for doing that. Obviously it would be difficult to determine parentage if she was only along a couple of months.

What would you do tough guy? Demand her to produce ovulation charts and then slam the door in her face?

This comment and the many here along the same lines of course makes sense......IF....he knew of her merkinery at the time of that video. IF he still hadnt found out then, then it doesn't justify it.

For mine, there is actually no indication in that video that he knows the depths of her merkinhood yet. He is not calling her a filthy dog merkin for lying to him, pretending to be pregnant, ruining his life, faking cancer....he is calling her a dog merkin for "scaring him" in the bathroom.
I wasn’t there, how could anyone know, unless they were there?

more likely you misunderstood

If you haven’t been exposed to that sort of stuff (no it doesn’t have to be directly lol) then you’ve probably lived under a rock your entire life

It was prefaced with "not condoning the language" and with the use of "like" - I took to mean language excluded. But you could be right.
