If nothing else, to get rid of Millward who is a genius and drags down every team he works with.

We missed out on Folkes, but I just saw him as a more experienced version of Furnace, a forwards oriented defensive coach.

Jason taylor on the other hand has experience, no job, and would be a great mentor for our young halves and backline.

Thoughts?

Biggest boofhead on earth. Case in point - what kind of dumb f**k coach goes to mad Monday with his players and puts himself in a position where one can take a swing at him.

No no no no no no no no no.

Ummmm NO.

I dont think he can offer anything Dave needs.

Dave would be a better fighter than any player in our squad.

Jason Taylor couldn’t coach a choko vine over an outdoor sh*thouse. Jason Taylor couldn’t teach a baby to cry. Jason Taylor makes David Furner look like a great coach.

As for Ian Millard, I thought he found his right level and will be coaching third division Leigh in England:

Former St Helens coach Ian Millward heads for third tier as Leigh go down

Defeat of Whitehaven not enough for safety
Centurions say Robbie Paul will also sign

The former St Helens coach Ian Millward will be coaching in the third tier of British rugby league next season after Leigh were relegated from the Co-operative Championship today.
The Centurions, who beat Whitehaven 47-14, will join Doncaster in Championship One in 2010.
Leigh, who say that Millward and the Salford hooker Robbie Paul will still join the club in 2010, will have to win promotion and the Northern Rail Cup next season if they are to have any chance of fulfilling the criteria before the next deadline for Super League applications.
Leigh's chief executive, Allan Rowley, said: "I have spoken to Ian Millward on a number of occasions since his appointment and he knows the script. He knows what the score is.
"Tomorrow we will sit down and take stock of the situation. We will start building for next year and our goal will be to win the Northern Rail Cup and to get promoted."
The Centurions ran in eight tries against Whitehaven, two of them from the hooker Dave McConnell. However, they were condemned to relegation after Batley came from 14-0 down at Featherstone to win 30-26 and Gateshead won at Doncaster, who finished the season with 17 defeats.
It was a sorry end to Leigh's first season at their new stadium, the Sports Village, after leaving Hilton Park. Their coach, Paul Rowley, said the club should look forward in a positive light.
"It's happened but as long as we learn from it we'll take a lot from this season. We'll go down and be strong," he said. "The Northern Rail Cup has now just become altogether more significant. The first goal of ours will be to win that."
Leigh finished in eighth place, above Toulouse, but the French club are exempt from relegation.
"We've been relegated in a false position. To finish joint seventh and still be relegated is a bit sickening," said Allan Rowley. "I've been trying to analyse the season and it's only in the back half of the year that this place [the Sports Village] has felt like home.
