Its a bit rich you commenting on the Dragons choking, considering thats exactly what Manly did on Friday night.

We choked? Ref aside, have you looked at the stats. Even if the ref put in a decent performance, the statistics (The Knights had 55% of possession, a completion rate 20% better than Manly's and Made 33% more metres...) show that Newcastle should have won comfortably...The fact you could only manage to win by seven points with so much ball and field position does not bode well for the remainder of your campaign...

Orford's won 3 of the seven finals games he's played in. Refresh me as to how many of their last seven finals matches the Drongos have won.

Manly defended very well in the first half, no doubt. But they were aided by the fact that we went far too lateral, which helped their sliding defence. When we started to go up the middle, well we all know what happened. 25-6 second half.

If you read RLW a few weeks, Orford tends to turn up for the first week of the finals and chokes once the sudden death stuff starts ;-). So he's already broken the mould.

Manly were tired from defending. But the Knights still took forever to finish 'em off...

Brisbane have won plenty of premierships. A few so called slumps at the end of the season. Plus the Dragons played the best of any side this entire weekend. Hardly a bad loss! They played well! Wheras Manly and Orford missed a kick that he should have easily got! That is choking!
