What a joke, Crocker has a badish record but he doesn't deserve 9 weeks for that. Great player, lots of intensity.

Exactly!
He is being punished for his past, as Fui is always punished for his.
Crocker has been playing the best footy of his life down there and one error means he could miss 9 weeks just because he has the record.

Fui never deserved his amount of time on the last suspension either

7 years incident free is an awful long time............... just my opinion

yeah it was robbo - but there was nothing in it - they were trying to milk a penalty - a canberra special ... he got up and was fine 2 seconds later

credit where credit is due.
They are very good at milking stuff and winding the clock down

I think the tackle on Tongue was actually Cayless. It wasn't high it was a text book grapple tackle. Very surprised not to see his name there.

on Crockers tackle

I've only seen it a couple of times and thought it looked very bad for him.

deserves a lengthy suspension.

If he didnt like the guy, it wouldnt have gone ugly and he wouldnt be facing this big suspension.

I just watched the replay and again I believe it's not worth 9 or even 7!!!!

and I reckon if it was a parra player it would've been worse!

How did Jason Robinson and Russel Smith escape charges? What about Chris Ward or Gavin Badger? Referees can make mistakes and nothing, players have a brain explosion and it costs them 9 weeks.

Having said that, it was a dud tackle, in recent time only Mad Pup's was worse from last year.

And did anyone see George Gregan's dangerous tackle? If you get another chance, watch the guy who was speared. The reverse angle shows after his head hits the ground, his own knee actually smacks him in the forehead! Your spine isn't supposed to bend like that!

That is a huge charge!!!!
I didn't think it was that bad when I saw it, it was stupid no doubt but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the guy landed on the back of his head, it was pretty abd

I hope he gets 9 weeks, he's the dirtiest player in the NRL and needs to learn some discipline

I know it was bad, and that he deserves suspension.
My gripe is that people like him and Fui and Morley are treated differently than other players, I think it should be on a year to year basis and not carried into years to ahead.

I feel sorry for Mick Crocker. His form with the Storm this season has been sensational and I KNOW, from very good sources, he was a certainty for SOO, and was being considered for the captaincy (how's that from left field) due to the inspirational nature of his game.

I do too, I have never really liked the guy, but the turn around in his game and form this year was such a credit too him and his coach... he slipped up and none of the good he has done this year counts for anything.

It is like getting warnings in the workplace....

Oh well.... live and learn hey?
I reckon the Storm will fight it

I think he would be a very poor example for a captain, sure he is a good player, but I don't like his game

there is no need for the spite that he shows, and he gives away alot of penalties with his dirty play
