Junior Burger

Best game since Penrith in 2006...

He showed composure in defence and genuine elusiveness making metres coming out from his own line.

TNT had a forgettable game. I would also ban Hodgo from kicking in attack and passing from dummy half. How many balls hit the turf? Ah well he proves his use in attack when playing two wide...

Spot on re junior burger and TNT. One was good and one was atrocious.

Chris Heighington was again awesome. Do selectors watch games or are they happy with mongs loved by the pillocks at 9 like ryan and hindmarsh

2 in a row for Shannon Mac and it`s good to see him getting a bit of credit, when credit is due. Don`t worry, MOTH and TV Ted will be having a beer with Shannon Mac after he scores the match winning try in this years GF !!!
And how good is Chris Heighington ??? I`ve got to admit, I took a little while to warm to Rhino as a first grader. He proved his worth last season and he has been phenomenal this season. Great to see him get a spot in the country side, he would be in the Australian side if I was picking it !!!

Well said on both counts.

Shannon was tops today, great bomb he took, and just a great all round day for him.

And on Rhino......he is the heart and soul of this team.

He had always been solid.....now he is a dead set weapon.Has started popping balls, and scoring tries,as well as making metres.

IMO he is better than Laffranchi.....works just as hard, and is more damaging in attack, and more mobile.

Rhino is bigger than Oprah........

His stats are unbelievable week in week out yet the press love soiling their undies about hindmarsh's 62m per game of 19 hitups and 57 4th man in flops he counts as tackles or some f**king nuffy like Andrew Ryan. Rhino is up there with the very best at the moment

I probably have been junior burgers biggest critic, but what I saw today was good, not brillant but good maybe solid is a better word. (The way Beau Ryan was playing). Anyway lets hope he kicks on, but playing the Sharks you are usually safe of too much danger when you play out wide (except for the odd Noddy bomb that is well placed)

Junior Burger was good. Not outstanding, but good.

If he plays like that every week then I have no problems with him being picked. However, I still think Ryan did nothing wrong to be dropped.

Good game. Let's hope we don't have to wait two years for the next good one.

Congrats to Hino also and to Gibbs. Gibbs has looked pretty good last couple of games and it's no surprise selectors are having a look at him, clearly one eye on the future. Hino, well he's been the Tigers best the opening 7 weeks & if he could develop an off-load he'd be as good as just about any other second-rower. As it is, he ranks pretty highly in my book.

Keyboard Warrior is as clueless as his mate Callan Pk.

Prior to today, JB had done nothing of note to merit his selection in the side. Players should not be selected by default.

On the other hand, Ryan playable extremely well given his limited opportunities. Again, he did nothing to warrant being dropped and then to face the indignity of being replaced by a guy with a terrible track record.

Should Junior have been playing today? Probably not, particularly at the expense of Ryan. Nonetheless, he performed very well and certainly deserves our praise. Seeing as he'll be there every week, unless injured, I hope he continues to perform to this standard.

Ah it seems Callan struggles with the concept of hypocrisy.
