Us bunnies have celebrated 21 premierships × 21 bottles of verve clicquot since 1908 a feat stmerge will never do you came into the game in 1922 your not a foundation club.. that must irk you cobber now your a merged club with the Illawarra steelers have you ever heard of marching ? Now your back to ( 1 premiership ) with your new identity called stgeorgeillawarra..
St George Illawarra Dragons have 16 premierships (15 as St George and 1 as St George Illawarra). The St George and Dragons element of the club has always been there for 16 premierships while wearing the Red V and representing Dragons.

Rabbitohs are a more successful club than Dragons since winning 5 more premierships while being around for 13 more years but not as iconic as Dragons as Dragons have won a record 11 premierships in a row which Rabbitohs will never do and have the equal most immortals with 5.

Your argument doesn’t make sense. Bulldogs had 13 on the field and 4 on the bench. We ended up with 3? I’m not saying that had anything to do with the result but due to injury we had 1 less player in our rotation. Get it?

Was at the game on Saturday (Local in enemy territory lol).

I was impressed with the Bulldogs, our line speed, our defence and most importantly our kick chase was on song, our attack was still iffy but looked better then basically all of last year.

Dragons struggled to make meters due to our kick chase and were always on the backfoot until Liddle came on.

Dragons did well to hang in there and when the momentum changed you guys looked good! I left Kogarah convinced St George will improve and make the 8 if they can improve there kick chase and cut out some basic stupid errors, the commitment is there and you guys will improve!

Liddle has to start... Cook is cooked lol! Must win game against South's cannot be 0 from 2 at home, you know South's will be at 80% + in completions if you match them with that you will win.

Again a packed home game at kogarah v bulldogs and the team was 28 .6 down a massive 1st game we needed to win.
Our defence will not match Penrith Brisbane Melbourne this season and we again can't lift at home games a shocker of a start to the season.
Are we the only team that consistently gets penalised more than the opposition at OUR home games? This has baffled me for ages

Our errors in our half cost us points and field position.

Once we held the ball and got good field position we scored most of our attacks in Bulldogs 20m. We scored 3 tries in the second half while only having a few play the balls in bulldogs 20m in the whole second half. Our attack was great it was just the errors that stuffed us up.

Bulldogs also scored 2 clear forward passes. Wilson and Sitili's first try. The ref's and touch judges are a joke.

LOL I agree with all except the last line... Maybe they were line ball (Maybe) but let's not forget all your tries were after being given penalties for nothing basically... It was the only way you could get field position (Referee didn't want a blow out).

All of bulldogs tries were off errors and penalities too, that's rugby league. But those 2 tries were clear forward passes. Even my bulldogs mates who i was with at the game agreed. I was in perfect position high up in the stands for the Tracey forward pass to Wilson's try and i couldn't believe the touch judge didn't see it. It was at least 30cm forward honestly go back and watch it

It's a shame we could not get Atkinson for 2025. If we had a decent recruitment manager and talented staff in the recruitment department, we would have secured a top-grade halfback to replace Hunt. If we had such a player lined up, we could have let Hunt go much earlier.

We don't have the forward pack to set a platform for our halves.
We didn't have an edge forward or center in Burton's face on the last tackle.
Our defence structure up the middle still needs a lot of work.
Suli needs to work on how to set up his winger.
Suli did everything to set up his winger, its not his fault Feagai dropped it cold multiple times. I feel like sloan wouldve caught those.

Yeah will do... I'll watch it again after work.

Forward pass at Kogarah reminds me of the one from Jason Hetherington to Halligan in the 1st week of the 1998 finals! It was deadset 4 meters forward hahaha great memories!

Stgeorge dragons from kogarah have won 15 premierships not 16..

Stgeorgeillawarra have won 1 premiership

You sadly merged and joined with another team called the Illawarra steelers from Wollongong..

I am born and bred from Wollongong..

The point is if you dropped the Illawarra steelers and went it alone today then you would start off from 15 premierships..stgeorgeillawarra is a new team a new identity thus two clubs merged into one team..if you check the nrl wikipedia today stgeorge 15 prems stgeorgeillawarra 1 prem that's where you are today 1 prem it's not good to delude yourself but if it helps you then do it..

So if you had of merged with souths today would you then say the stgeorge dragons have won 37 premierships?? 15 + 1 + 21 premierships = 37 premierships??

Hey I feel for you i wished you had of marched..

Nope same Dragons club that merged with Illawarra which has 16 premierships.

If Dragons merged with rabbitohs it depends what the name was, what the club and jersey mainly represented, who owned it. If it was St George Rabbitohs with a Red V then it'll count the St George's premierships from 16 onwards. But if it was more connected to Rabbitohs then it'll count the Rabbitohs premierships and continue onwards. If Illawarra left Dragons then all the Illawarra fans won't support Dragons anymore, they'll support Steelers whereas the St George fans will remain Dragons fans as it's the Dragons club.

Illawarra legit owns 0% of the club. Just because a merger happens doesn't get rid of St George's premierships as part of the St George Illawarra Dragons. Think of Illawarra as more of a feeder club to Dragons with more benefits of having another stadium.

It's also why Wests Tigers have 12 premierships (11 as Balmain and 1 as Wests Tigers). It's the Tigers club.

CRICHTON EXPOSES NRL’S MATCH REVIEW ‘LOTTERY’

No wonder so many fans get so disillusioned at the lottery that is the NRL’s match review system.

How in the hell do we make sense of what constitutes a suspension and what doesn’t these days in the wake of Stephen Crichton escaping a ban for dangerously leading with his knees to stop a try against the Dragons.

Yet a week earlier two Canberra Raiders were banned for far less dangerous incidents.

Just to refresh our memories, Joe Tapine was not only sin binned in Vegas but copped two games for his shoulder charge on Mitch Barnett (despite there being no head contact whatsoever).

Xavier Savage was also suspended for a match for kick charge pressure on Chanel Harris-Tavita where there was only minor contact on the leg.

But Crichton was slapped with a lettuce leaf when copping an $1,800 fine for collecting the head of Dragons winger Christian Tuipulotu in an incident that was ultimately judged a penalty try.

Crichton gets SPRAYED after penalty try | 00:50

The Bulldogs will argue there was no intent in what Crichton did.

But the fact is Crichton did a very similar tackle in their recent trial loss to the Broncos when he came in late on Jesse Arthars.

I thought at the time it warranted more attention given Crichton’s second effort with his knee.

Then to escape with no suspension this time is even more bewildering.

The Bulldogs Jacob Preston also escaped with a $1,000 fine for whacking Valentine Holmes off the ball.

Raiders fans have a right to be filthy they won’t get to see Tapine and Savage play against the Broncos this round.

FORWARD PASS CONTROVERSY ROBS DRAGONS

The Dragons have a right to be blowing up about two contentious passes that led to Dogs’ tries in the 28-20 defeat.

There is no argument the Dogs were the more dominant team.

But those two tries were ultimately still the difference in the scoreline.

The one from Kurt Mann to Sitili Tupouniua was dead set forward from where I was sitting, while there was also a huge question mark hanging over the pass from Connor Tracey that Blake Wilson scored off.

You’d love to see the NRL at least allow the Bunker to make a judgement in try scoring situations without a referee’s bias influencing the decision.

Graham Annesley always says the ref and the touchies have the best view on the field.

But with the speed of the game that is not always the case.

And it is ridiculous to bury your head in the sand and argue how modern technology couldn’t do a more consistent job given the amount of TV cameras that monitor every game.
