Bit harsh that Rabbitohs can't get anyone in there considering they were minor premiers and Dylan Farrell was RLPA player of the year in toyota cup.

Further players will be added to the squad at the completion of week three of the finals with the final squad to be selected on October 4.

Carlos Tuimavave was the Warriors NYC Young Player of the Year (not the big prize there, but AFAIK its for rookies with more time up their sleeve in the grade). His stats were fairly good, quite comparable to Shaun Johnson's this year. He does fairly well in this grade.

Oh ok, cheers. The way it read I thought that was the final squad.
that is the final squad.
barring any injury to crucial positions or any stand out players in the final game.

Hence why south sydney & warriors have already been named.
Heaps of local talent but lack of depth at hooker, and halves.

If mckwillirck went down? who would play hooker??
Seluini is only a make shift hooker.
Chan ting average.

s.williams
vaurasi
segeyaro
t.sims
r.james
josh jackson

a couple souths forwards have a chance to impress in this second half and make this aussie side on the bench if they can shut down the offload!

Mate mine was a guess of what I would like to see

Where is the squad of 19, Massey and Segeyaro should be two of the first picked.

Im still amazed Brad Murray, Matt Hyland and Dale Finucane weren't picked in the initial squad

I'd have kept Kasiano in it from the bench rather than Ioane and Louisi (who are still very good young players). Looks like a great young team though

Plenty of talent in that kiwi team but I am a little shocked that Kasiano didn't get a spot.
