Hey guys,

We all know how talented this kid is, i'm just wondering if you could put a rumour to bed for me.

I was told this kid was following Elliot to Penrith. I then informed the guy that there is no way Canberra would let such a talented player leave the club.

So could you please put this rumour to bed with regards to his contract situation?

Cheers.

f**k Off Elliott !!!!

There is no doubt that once Junior hits the weights and does a bit more on his defence he's going to be a gun centre in the mould of Mal and Rubes.

There hasn't been much on him leaving but I can't see management letting him go as they have definitely seen his potentinal.

He is in the premier league side this weekend and I dont think they would pick him if they knew he was going. Dont know what his contract status is. I would expect 2008 at least, like most of the young players.

Hit the weights!! The kid is wider that is he is tall. Already looks like Matt Utai. Only saw him for about 5 minutes before he got injured against Norths PL, so I can't comment on talent. Think his lack of height could go against him, however happy to be proven wrong as we are bit light on for depth in the outside backs.

Hmm, can't say I've heard that one. Could be one of those "wishful thinking" type rumours, but I can see why Penrith would be interested. I might get Tim Gavel to ask the question on the ABC sports radio show tomorrow...

Well if he is as talented as all you say he is...

Why can't he get a run off the bench for FG.

Cause if he is talented then he would the sh!t over Howell and Purtell!

Elliott has to have one nuffy in the team. Chalk is more than capable on the wing yet keeps being put on the bench.

Purtell... Howell... Bulgarelli..... Gafa.... Evans post injury....

Ability and form has nothing to do with the Matt Elliot team selection.

Keep Sau at Canberra, we need him!

I know that Elliot has his nuffy's but still if he is good enough you would think that Elliot would give him a run this season

Elliot said Zilly was a special player and was going to get every chance. I highly doubt Sau will get a go, and it has nothing to do with his talent.

I'm not sure but if i recall correctly.. Junior skipped a division and went straight to PL because he was that good. So i think maybe they don't want to rush him into firsts.. if form keeps up he will be playing FG in 07'.

If I've got a ? on Sau atm it is his defence ... a bit more work and this guy is ready for FG ... remember he's come up fairly quickly from our junior base ... I'd say mid next season he will be a regular in FG.

Everyone should know by now I love 'The Biscuit'.

If he went to Penrith so be it but I haven't heard anything of the sort so...

I saw Sau play the Eels at Parramatta Stadium in PL and he's got girth and power. I love that in a centre - he didn't get a great deal of ball throughout the game (Parramatta won it well) but I have had high hopes for the kid since I saw his awesome name in the program for SG Ball a few years back.

And he won't play in the NRL in 2006 unless there is a thousand injuries and besides it is folly to think guys getting paid decent money (in some players case even next to nothing is too much) will be punted for a PL rookie who played SG Ball last year.

Give the Biscuit time.

For what it's worth, Tim Gavel thought our management had locked him in for a couple of years (until the end of 2008?) earlier this season. I can't confirm that though.

I would be more upset to lose Sau then Schif at this stage of his career. We rely on juniors like Sau coming through.
