A great day at Leichhardt Oval. Decent crowd and two good games. Plenty of talent and both teams played attacking football worth watching. In SG Ball Souths had most of the ball but went one out all game much like their NRL side but couldn't score. Sharks struck on the fringes with quality plays. Watch the highlights. They are more impressive than the NRL highlights.

It was quite a contrast watching kids move the ball quicker than an NRL side. The attack in the NRL side is woefully slow. Johson read the second man pass from Ennis to Robson all night. Both just too slow.

Well what a year by our young blokes.

Credit to the club by bringing down some QLD guns and also poaching some great souths juniors. I always said sg ball could win the comp purely on potential and they came through with the goods.

This proves that the club now has some very decent youngens in their grasp and the ball is on our court to hold onto them. It won't be easy but it should be a priority to maybe do some forward planning from here on in.

I know some forumers didn't like me posting about these grades but look what it has done for the club! It's a massive morale boost for the club as a whole and I really do hope we see the majority of these guys progress through the grades in black, white and blue

Absolutely agree. This club has been at its best when young players have come through the grades. Well done to the players, coaches and staff. Now to fix the NRL set up.

Snoop all with you, next week we play Stingers for national championship.

1. Ensure we have signed the core of these players for the future.
2. The club Lyall needs to outline how you can progress through a pathway and what the benefits are in staying with the club.
3. The SG Ball players who we retain, then need to be given taste of NYC this year, to show them the next level.

Overall great perfomance by the club, and i hope the club shows these kids how important them winning to the club is
