I was wondering some thoughts you guys have on the Juniors and recruits you have signed/nurtured over the last year or so.

I mainly ask as my cousin (Nigel Plum) has been signed by the Roosters for next season. He's played 2 years in PL with Wests and he is looking to play first grade next season, and believed the Roosters will give him that shot.

Also, a thread like this is always good to discuss the talent you have floating around that hardly anyone knows about. I also like to know who the future prospects are when watching lower grades. The thought of watching someone playing who could be the next Tallis, Lockyer or Fittler et al is quite a thrill for some.

Future Prospect for the chooks is definatly Jamie Soward, Raiders junior that went to the them this or last season, he is a fantastic prospect, has been talked about as the next Fittler. He has been a huge reason for the Roosters success in the lower grades. Also a kid thats heading to canberra next season ( ) Jermaine Ale, the kid is a try scoring machine.

Jamie Soward is the name to look for, he is something special

I think the Raiders did well to pick up Jermaine Ale. He's a big strong Centre that could even play in the back row.

Definately ready to break into 1st grade. As for Soward, I think 2006 may be his debut year. I'm not a big fan of the saying that if your good enough your old enough. These kids needs to mature physically as well as mentally. works for Tennis but not contact sport. Never really thought Benji Marshall should have made his debut last year let alone have expectation of him being a regular 1st grader in 2004.

None the less excited for the Roosters future.

2nd year syndrome i hope for his sake... well to be honest i dont hope, i really would like to see him playing PL next season... if his form stays the same he will, Stuart wont tolerate 2nd rate performanaces

Most Roosters fans already know this name ; Iosia Soliola.

The kid is still in high school doing his HSC and he's playing first division, and Captained the Junior Kiwis. MASSIVE future. The only thing that stopped him from first grade this year was the Salary Cap. He has Class written all over him.

He played for Marcellin Randwick in the first grade grand final this year and carved up.

Another probably lesser known, but is just as good a player is Pee Wee Moke.

Australian Schoolboy and Captain of Endeavour High School. Excellent player whether he's in the Centres or in the Backrow. He has a real future in firsts, and he's currently part of the Undefeated Roosters Flegg squad.
