I have no problem with what he's supposedly done. I do think he's doing a top job. What I wrote about blaming the previous board was in response to Snake. It's idiotic to say management are a shambles and blame the new board.

Half the time I reckon they get a sniff of something second or third hand and then just make the rest of it up and voila, a newspaper article.

I don't believe that they they love us more than they do the Roosters, Souths, the Dogs, the Dragons or even the Sharks.

Similar to us, if those clubs are going well then you don't really hear about any of the bad things. However, when they have struggled in the past there have been all sorts of negative stories about how shit they all are.

A lot of fans think the media pay us more attention than others. But to be honest our club should be worrying less about what the media thinks and more about what is required to again become a competitive force. That is the only way to stop these stupid newspaper articles.

The issue with sacking or having run-ins with Media Managers then it is likely to get out in the media. After all the media managers job is to deal with the media people and journos. They all know each other, it's is just one big network really.
