makes sense to me....Hopkins is a better player than Jamir Feeney and much more versatile and more skillfull

Bulldogs are not dumb enough do that surely. They don't buy rejects like we do. They buy players with Talent such as Tonga and Ryan but rejects noooo thats left to clubs like us to employ. Although this year brian Smith has not signed any rejects, maybe things are changing.

As a dispassionate observer I'm with Belly on this one. Hopkins always looked to me as though he was on the edge of a brain explosion, much like Stuart Kelly.

Feeney is nothing more than solid but at least he's dependable. I'd take him over Hopkins.

I hate to say it but the wheel might be turning for your mob. It looks like your recruitment might be spot on this year, especially getting Morrison. He's a super signing. The only question mark is how effective Tahu will be without Gidley on the inside. Bet you wish you still had Tonga to set him up.

Although he would not get a run in our top 17 (Marsh and Riddell are the possible hooking combination; Hindmarsh, Morrison, Wagon, Afamasaga and Mateo in the back row equation), I'll miss him.

He always gave 100% and had talent too.
