internationals leagues a joke. Theres only 1 "superpower" (the kangas) and the only way the can lose to the 2nd ranked team (the kiwis) is if they field a "c" team.

Heres where we stand

Union:
5 "superpowers" each capable of winning the WC.
4 teams capable of upsetting the top 5
Played in 80 countries and growing (Pakistan and India both played thier first offical tests this month

League:
1 "superpower" which will win the WC
2 teams capable of upsetting the Aussies if the Aussies field a "c" team
Played in 23 countries

Round 2:

Every world cup in pool play are mainly blow outs. Netball, Soccer, Cricket and league & union are no different but when it comes finals time..

Union:
Quater Finals: 1 blow out
Semi Finals: Both close, exciting games games
3rd/4th & Final: Close, with the max margin about 20

League
Quater Finals: 3 blow outs
Semi Finals: 1 Blow out
3rd/4th & Final: Both one sided blow outs

It was easily the most enjoyable Union game I have seen. Its not a bad game when played that way and when the ref doesnt blow a penalty every second. Hopefully its not a one off.

When the rules become more like league it will become a good game.

Well played Wales. It would be good to see them play like that against the ugliest football team in the world next week, but I doubt they will.

It's Souths nearly knocking off the Broncos earlier in the year only to finish with the spoon.

Wales and Scotland are only making up the numbers in the quarters.

Should stick with their second stringers or maybe even Paul Stringer?? Like that one...... hey hey???
