Just say your team had a chance to sign Mitchell Pearce or Jamie Soward ...

Could i be so bold as to ask who you believe your club should sign ? Lets face it, the Roosters are the dumbest club in the comp, but i bet if your team had a certain player playing alongside Benji, you be back right up there where you belong.

Please be honest :)

I would rather Josh Lewis, than either of them. Although this would by my choices from the roosters in order of preference:
1. Lewis (best passing game, and great running game)
2. Pearce (huge potential, still very young though, may not be ready next year)
3. Soward (brilliant kicking, ordinary tackling)

I rate all 3 very highly, but Lewis and Pearce have a bit of history with the tigers.

Why would coach Sheens want any of them--he thought Roberts couldnt play and let him go to the dogs. Unless your got a hundred 1st grade games and play a postion at your present club with a number quite different to your intened number at the tigers he is not interested. Why would you buy a class half back when you could buy a average backrower and convert him. 14 backrowers and benji hogo and farah on the bench--sheens ideal team

Well I'm happy with Tim Sheens as coach, I think super_coach should go and follow some other team, the Sheens bagging is wearing pretty thin.

Back to the question from the 3 roosters halves
1) Pearce
2) Lewis - very close the top 2
3) Soward - don't want him

Would like one of the top 2 but think they need some time to develop so an extra yr in PL or off the bench in 08

Bullsh*t. Roberts left to play First Grade. Rightly or not, he was behind Reynolds, Prince and Marshall at Wests while at the 'Dogs there was Sherwin and another bloke coming from Reserve Grade. It's obvious what the better option was. Sheens wanted him but he left for football.

Well said Magpie Nick

Roberts was never going to crack first grade whilst Prince was there, ever think maybe players have a choice in their own futures and decide for themselves if they want to leave a club for better opportunities.

Not interested in anyone under 100 first grade games…hmmm the names Fulton, Farah, Collis, Lawrence, Jeffery, McDonnell, Tuiaki, Galloway and Harrison spring to mind….

Give the over dramatisation a rest :p

i would take lewis and have morris as a utility player. pearce will not be going anywere meaning lewis could be up for grabs even mid season like firman was. be a handy buy i think.

I've seen on the NRL website that Mitchell Pearce has resigned for the rooster for 2 years. Looks like Lewis is heading to the sharks or tigers.

I doubt Sheens will eat humble pie and go after Lewis--Morris is his man
I reckon Morris will be by the end of 2007 a better than average 1/2,the only problem we will not be far off the bottom of the comp. The foundations for 2008 will be laid and better times are not to far away (but not 2007)

I would take either over Morris, but Lewis has a better all round game. Why does one club have 3 halfbacks and others none.:?

I would rate them thus:

Lewis
Pearce
of them though.

Lewis looks a potential superstar imo. I would be happy with any
