From foxsports.com.au

CRONULLA fullback David Peachey's appeal against a two-match suspension for contrary conduct has been upheld.

Peachey will be free to play in the National Rugby League match against South Sydney tonight at Aussie Stadium.

Peachey said he was relieved at the decision and happy that his clean record over a ten-year career had been kept intact.

Dunno how he got off after the video footage they showed of him on NRL on fox where he looked at the touchie who was telling and pointing him to go back.

Just means that they were happy to let Peachey off because it means Jack Schitt to the season.
A victory for bleaters everywhere.

Good Gawd.....how many people has Hayne slept with?
More than Jason Stevens I'll bet. ;-)

Peachey got off on a technicality. No one can prove that he heard the ref's words so Justice Woods has done it by the book.

Every man and his dog knows that Peachey ignored the ref but its another thing to prove it.

The bigger problem is with the club now. Have they learnt from this or do they believe their own rhetoric?

an absolute disgrace - the whole affair - the suspension should have stood - now what do we tell the u/11's. It's fine just tell the ref to go and get F!!!...

Peachey did it and got away - so can you...

The bugger should have got 10 weeks...

What I want to know is if Peachey can't hear a referee and a touchie who is only one meter away from him in front of a small crowd of 7,500 then how can players hear a ref calling them offside at a packed stadium in the finals?

A rediculous decision, and another absolute shocker from a legal bod, this time Justice Woods.

Typical Cronulla relying on old Super League ties - the same ones that prop up their miserable club.
