Agreed. He could def help us either in the centres or backrow right now, but just like Burt and Shackleton, SK has made the call they aren't up to NRL level??

yeah i thought Ryan was good. high workrate, dived on a couple of loose balls, solid defence overall. just not sure he is or can be the block-busting backrower we so desperately need??

Would be a shame if true...he certainly offers more than Lasalo and Paulo even out of form. Would be nice to see him hitting holes off Ben Roberts, he's a damn good hole runner

Hope it's not true. It's silly to release players under contract unless you've signed a replacement first. Last year we released a bunch of players mid season, replaced them with no-one, and then were whingeing we had no depth when injuries occurred. The more depth we have in the backrow the better, it's our weakest position.

I think there may be something in this. Someone on the other site said the other site said that Horo had signed with the Panthers. I'm just about to post it on Twitter and see if anyone else has heard anything.

Well what i heard was Horo snr wanted a gig at parra and him and Steve Kearney had a blew so parra pi$$ed him off. Than he went to penrith and now justin wants out and has been playing half hearted since it all went down...

It's certainly plausible since Horo has been playing pretty ordinary footy of late but I'm not sure that there is any advantage in us letting any players go this year.
