Unsure what this has to do with the Warriors but ...

With Marshall's signing to Leeds Tykes RU in 2006 there could be a possibility that he turn out for the Leeds Rhinos RL team.
Unsure of how he would go in RL given the fact that his speed is not what it used to be - perhaps a hooker. His pass is not the best but it would good enough for a dummy half and he is a tough bugger with a boot that would be equal if not better than some of the Warriors - perhaps that was the link to the Warriors!

the tykes and rhinos train together dont they ?
i was thinking the same thing, at 31 he,s got nothing to lose.

i dont think he would be much good at league tho.

Why not? I think he's too old now, but I reckon he would have made a super hooker - he defends well, is very strong, clears the ball, runs strongly, and has a reasonable kcking game...

I reckon Marshall wouldnt like getting gang tackled hard all of the time.

As being a halfback he is never sournded by huge forwards, is he

Whenever he is tackled hard or if he doesnt like the tackle, he comes up pushing, swinging, whatever.
That wont work in league when he's hit hard repeatedly.

Half the players in league come up swinging.

Im sure getting back slammed by Paul Miller would hurt just as much as getting hit by a league forward.

Then you have to take into account that he would then be stuck at the botton of a ruck, with 10-12 100kg plus guys piling on top of you.

But all of this banter is pointless, both codes have different areas more physically draiing than others.

I think Marshall would be a great leaguey in his prime actually, but when I say 'swinging'..........he just seems to take more affront to the tackles sometimes, than what a league does.
Thats all.

You said "every time"... there is one for you.....

Marshall was great... WAS.... his pass is far to slow and now it is erratic... it has as much chance of going to nobody as it does the 5/8th..... How many times in the tri-nations did he pass along the ground or in the wrong direction...

Kelleher has done his time and has really matured now... this could be his time
