With Tim Mannah and Fui Fui around.

IMO, Tim Mannah has now surpassed the Kiwi captain Nathan Cayless and former NSW Origin prop Justin Poore, and is quickly closing in on Fui Fui as our most effective front rower.

At the moment its better for the team to have Nathan Cayless starting, but next year I believe that Tim Mannah will be our premier front rower.

At the begining of the year, who would have thought that after 10 rounds, Tim Mannah would be the better performing of our 4 representative props.

Imensly proud.

I agree with those thoughts however on current form i dont see fui even near mannah! Mannah is god at the moment ! Comes on for short stints and hammers the opposition.

Its those short stints that make me consider Mannah above Poore and now Cayless. While Cayless is on the field longer, he is not having the effect that Tim Mannah is.

Note to all, I dont think that Cayless should be benched, the side is better with him starting.

Tim Mannah is just inspirational.

Frankly I don't get the continual bagging of Poore. He did good last night.

Never start ? He provides superior stats to Caylo and is probably on less $, so why the hate ?

actually, Poore was great in the back end of the game and dented the D continuasly, this not much else to add about Mannah which hasn't been said in this thread..he will be close to the best prop in the game by the end of the year.

If you want to talk about playing to reputation, Fui has only brought his A game a few times this year. Why not start a thread about him?

Agreed, last night Fui was our least effective prop. Poore and Mannah have been great the last 5 weeks. But that won't stop the haters giving it to Poore.

don't get me wrong, I think Mannah is our most effective prop atm and am loving the way he is playing!!! ... but perhaps the reasoning lies within the one sentence .... Tim is only getting short stints while caylo is expected to play bigger minutes - when you know you only have a 10 minute stint you can probably go a bit harder knowing you'll get a break .... I'd love to see Tim get more time and see how he fairs (I reckon he'd still put in, but it would be a harder task)

Yeah he started terribly but really worked himself into the game as it went on.

yep io thought he played prob his best game for us last night....he made some good strong tackles and when we were running sideways he'd get up the middle and straighten us up. im liking he and timmy off the bench and id say poore will start next year with fui if he improves more and more

Poore played well last night. Good strong tackles and ran straight lines.

Not sure why everyone (parra supporters) is so keen on having Cayless start.

I did notice after the Robson try that Poore didn't join in on the celebrations with everyone else, just walked back for the kick-off.

Cayless and Moi Moi got dominated by Douglas and Snowden last night.

thats the parra forum. its what they do. most here have no idea

yeh and a majority of the hate comes from people who have only signed up since last year, kinda makes me think if they jumped on board last year or what? obviously they dont know from previous seasons we r a very inconsistent team in the first 10 or so rounds we usually come out with even win/loss record half way through then come home into the finals with our wins over our losses. and this year we have showed we can be a good team and put most tops teams under the sword. hopefully drags and storm games we turn up i have no doubt we will stick it to them both and try hard like manly game

I only saw the game in bits and pieces last night, but it seemed liked every time I looked up Mannah was killin it. He's gotta be close to this years 'most improved' in the NRL.

I really do think Poore is getting his mojo back...but Timmy is making EVERYBODY look second rate.

Mannah needs more minutes, he seems fit enough for them.

PS: You know Gareth Ellis' Try on Friday? how come no one at parra runs lines like that? i cant remember any eel turning on the inside near the line at pace, we always go straight or with the line direction
