Well, I originally started this thread to highlight and express my opinion that Tim Mannah has over taken Justin Poore and Nathan Cayless as our most effective front rower. And who would have thought that at the begining of the year?

Mannah is one of top front rowers in the game, should been picked for SOO i cant believe you bloody eels paid 275 or 300 G for Justin Poore...

Poore just seems to look unfit and fat. He has a go but he has no impact when running the ball up or tackling.

My only problem is the money he is on. If its as high as 300k, then he is the overpaid overrated player everyone is calling him. Honestly he deserves to be on no more than 150k.

I think Poore is getting better and better. His stats are are similar to Mannah coming of the bench. Lets see how the next 2 weeks pan out against tough opposition

I wouldnt rate Mannah over Cayless until Mannah plays a few times as starting front rower. Its a diffferent kettle of fish and intensity coming on after 20-25min. Also Caylos offloads in traffic are brilliant when he plays that way, goes a long way for our 2nd phase play to cause carnige

Having said that, in a year or two Mannah could be anything, If he keeps improving and learning

Watch him get tackled. Gets dominated in the play the ball every time.

Unfit? maybe not.

Muscular strenght/endurance?? he ends up on his back and pushed around so many times it isnt funny.

I don't understand why Moi Moi is starting. He's always been an impact player and I think it's crazy to have him start. Bring him on after 20 mins and he'd add a lot more imo.

.

oh thats bullsh*t, he sometimes gets roughed around but so do many of our forwards. most of the time poore hits the line and lands on his knees and elbows.

Never thought I'd be saying this, but I'd prefer to see Poore out there on Friday night, would give us a slightly better chance of beating your mob. Gifted us some valuable posession & metres back in Round 1.

GIFTED is a understatement. Tried to give someone a face massage on the fourth tackle of the first set of six (after the dragons had made EASY ground, over the halfway). Set the scene for the next 20 minutes of Dragon dominance in our half. Lucky it was the first round & combinations were not working, or we would have been done by at least another 20.:thumbd:

However, since those first few games, where Poore offered nothing put penalties & dropped ball to the other team, I think his game & intentcity have lifted.

He's not where I would like to see him, YET. But hey, thats just me.

I would like to see a massive lift from him this week - up against his old club ,plus missing out on origin.
