I had the pleasure of meeting Justin yesterday at work, all i can say is what an exceptional bloke!!!!

He was so humble and so well spoken it blew my mind, he absolutely denied any rumours of him wanting to leave and reckons that the boys are the best bunch of blokes he has met!

All i can say to those booing him and putting crap on him to stop as he even mentioned how much it affects him mentally, lets support him and give him our sincere support, he is training hard and wants to improve, he really wants his origin spot back!

Lets show this bloke our support and cheer him every time he touches the ball!

Has played well the last couple of weeks.

He is a true gentleman, it was funny cause i saw him and thought where have i seen this bloke before? I go to him "you're a footy player ay?" he goes "na not me" lol, very reserved bloke! I felt stupid as I did not recognise him!!!

At the kiddies BBQ at the club, Justin was an absolute standout, and I was proud to introduce him to my son.
I'm also proud, and glad, he is an Eel.

That's a bit soft if the case but then again if it is with how's been continually improving every week for past month or so then that's actually a great quality that he's fighting to change how he's perceived

Justin was always too good a player to keep up the bad patch of form he was in. So happy to see he's coming good - and with plenty of improvement left in him!

Love ya Juzzy!!

Saw him a tuesday or two back after the Manly game at a small dinner (Tim Mannah was there as well, if anyone remembers my very first post...well it was essentially the same thing).

I asked him about all the rumours and he laughed them off, some of them-like the Dogs rumour-he didn't even know about until he got home and heard it on the news.

He also took immense satisfaction from Weidler getting smashed by Vic Darchinyan.

And in regards to the crap he was copping earlier in the season. It got pretty ugly and personal with more than a few merkins tracking down his telephone number and harassing him and his missus over the phone with some vile garbage.

There sure are some f**king cowards out there.

He has been very good last few matches. In fact he deserves to start ahead of both Cayless and Moi Moi based on performances over the last month.

Yeah well she wouldn't meet me face-to-face. What was I supposed to do?

Ive sat in the southern terrace a few games, and opposing forwards just wont run at him, but 3 of them dont mind giving it to him when Justin takes the ball up. He is getting better and better. Wouldnt be suprised if he and Mannah tear the Storm apart on Friday

Exactly,
Poore has been great the last few weeks.
He has showed alot of aggression and desperation in both attack and defence. All he needs now is a bit better service out of dummy half and for himself to get into position to take the ball up constantly with speed and at the little men.

Yeh, His been playing really well lately and only getting better. I honestly think he should start ahead of Fui, so Fui can bring some impact back into his game.

Poorey's a wonderful frontrower and a guy that I love watching play, but at times he appears to be an easy target as he runs too upright and therefore he's an easier target to drive back when you hit him in a sweet spot.

I would dearly love to see an off load in his game and an ability to hit a gap, but than again we need a distributer to do that and there in lies the problem at the moment.

Spot on. I don't think I have seen a front rower, get dominated so much like Poore does.

We have 4 very good book ends. We really should never be dominated by any forward packs, ever.

To be honest, assuming no injuries, our pack should be good enough to take us all the way, when they get the between the ears stuff worked out.
They really should try to build up a reputation of a dominating pack. THey handled Manly so well. They just need to turn up mentally each week and they can become a real force.
