Why all the pessimism, MilitaryShark?

You call it pessimism, I call it my opinion.
Believe me I would love to see the Sharks win the GF this year. I was really hyped at the start of the season, but I have since seen a few of the games. I don't believe Nigel will see the form at the Sharks that made him one of the best centres running around like when he was at the Bulldogs, because he just doesn't get the ball enough. I think he is a confidence player and if the ball doesn't start getting out to him a bit more often he will lose any confidence that he has. I feel we recruited badly with Lomu, as ive said before why do we insist on recruiting bench players ? We have our own under achievers why recruit other from other clubs ? We have also shown this year that our depth is lacking in more than one position. I don't agree with Rapers positional play for some of our players, but overall I think he is doing a great job with the players he has and I think he will only get better with time. The bottom line is (i think) we didn't recruit well and we are no paying the price for it. I can't wait to see who we recruit next year.
