He was probably Englands best in the Ashes. I think theres a really good player in there, hopefully we can get it out of him.

We have quiet a few tall players in our team, its frustrates me we dont use the short cross field kick to an edge for guys like Samulea, Bula. Heck Seyfarth and Doueihi have even scored tries off bombs previously
It’s a mystery why he was Av at Newcastle. Ive heard Ponga can keep players on edge. The coach seemed a bit wound up also..I’m not expecting that to be the case with Luai or Benji or the lads. He’s Key but he has to fire

I was pretty stoked when we signed this boy, some of the things he was doing early on at the knights in a team that wasn’t really functioning well impressed me. Good lines, nice hands, powerful build. Hopefully he stays happy and healthy and really excels. That backrow of KPP and Sam Fainu has real potential, give us some real attacking skills both sides.

Hard to show your best in a side that’s not putting it together. He had his moments

That's outstanding, especially the amount of defensive work he's getting through.

Newcastle fans must be spewing he got away. He'd be killing it there this year as well.

Oh well, their loss is our gain.

I can see him having another big game against the knights on Sunday

I saw his signing last year and was very underwhelmed. He was bog average at Newcastle with the odd flash of brilliance. He's been a complete revelation this year and close to our best player.

What AOB did to him should be studied.

The way Newy are playing atm, imagine them having KPP in his current form.

It's worth thinking about how much of his current form is due to him being here...the playing group...bonding with and desire to excell for Benji who he's admitted was a boyhood hero? It's become obvious that Adam OB absolutely stifled him but we've got a few other imports that have come to life in our colours as well.
* Just to add....former WT Gareth Ellis is a bit of a mentor for KPP....I'd add that as a motivating factor to do well here...to walk directly in his footsteps

Absolutely mate!
You would know Das, that team chemistry has a lot to do with winning.
The way in which players, coaches, staff, and the fans, all interact can make you or break you.
You can see that Benji has created a real brotherhood/family atmosphere but has drawn a line in the sand too.
Being professional athletes, it's a job. How often in the past have you worked well with certain people with your work? How many people were hard to work with?
How many people would you have liked to have bopped on their noses, and what colleagues or bosses brought the best out of you? 😂
Atm we are winning. Adversity can make or break a team too but if we stay strong we'll go alright
