Jai isn't a halfback. And what does he need to do to prove he's first grade quality? A lot. Quite a lot actually.

In regards to Kata.. You can't polish a turd. He's the most one dimensional centre in the NRL. I'd rather Aitken, and I hate Aitken.

Elgey is a good player. Would be a quality backup to Hunt/Norman. Not sure whether we really need him or where that leaves Field and/or Nicholls, but since when has strategic thinking mattered to StGI management?

I'd take him , Elegy , Norman in the halves , Hunt to hooker , McInnes to lock and they can rotate when needed . Na we don't have the right coach to do anything like that ...... And there is the extra forward we need ......

Plus the 30-man roster has been filled for 2019 with the signing of Patrick Kaufusi. With injuries & the JDB situation, we needed to add a forward. The options were limited with only the guarantee of a contract for 2019 due to JDB's uncertain playing future. Other teams had vacancies & also opened up spots with players being granted releases.

The 6 development players might be given a chance (including Steve Marsters at centre or wing). Just confirming that Marsters, Ford, Lovodua, Saab, Blacker & Hayden Lomax were those 6 that are eligible to play NRL after JUne 30.

My opinion is for small money Ok and depth back up only. Should be in reggies if could not make a fist of it at Titans or Manly. But he is better than Nicholls who at 27 or whatever he is and a perennial reserve grade player was always going to be that and if we had thoughts he was adequate cover in need for 1st grade then as Possm would say..Millward and Mary have no clue.

he will play Qcup for Storm feeder club so I suppose he will rise there
