I can't figure this out.

Hindy ruled out of tour - 2 weeks later he's ok !
A Winger/Centre is ruled out (Tahu) and replaced with a 2nd rower(Hindy).
A halfback is ruled out, and replaced with a winger (Grothe).

Why wasn't Grothe brought in for Tahu. My guess is that they decided they really needed Hindy after the 1st test loss.

I can't make any other sense of it.

They already had Prince, Gower, Barrett and Lockyer in the halves so there was no real need to bring in another half.

Hindmarsh was brought back in for two reasons IMO.
a) They stuffed up in the first place
b) The form of Ryan, Fitzgibbon and Mason wasn't where they had hoped.

if you asked Bennett? he'd turn around and give you the Jack Gibson policy, and that's pick the best 23 players available then turn a side into it.

Last season the Broncos chased Michael Ennis very hard, but he(as we all know) ended up signing with the Dragons.

It was well publicised that the Dragons would have cap problems due to player bonuses for making rep teams. So Hindy was then ruled out, without a proper medical except for the one he got from Parra saying he would be fine.

Ben Creagh now joins the Aussie team and the Dragons were now officially screwed and needed to drop some players.

Michael Ennis joins the Broncos........

Actually, Creigh was asked in an interview whether or not he received bonuses for making the Australian side and he said no, the interviewer said "well you should" and he apparently just laughed.
