If she has a dog of a day in getting shit wrong in the first half,and I'm talking about a performance so bad,half the crowd would be baying for her blood,and the other fans would be laughing at her in the stands with tears streaming down their faces,could she be replaced by another female ref?

We also have to be mindful that policewomen have to make all sorts of descisions on a daily basis.So on that,I'm all for the girly ref.

I'm the most non PC guy ever but I hope she goes okay....
She'll make a few mistakes but it won't be because she's a woman....and a ponytail looks better on her than it does on Aaron Woods.

Good luck to her. I am sure she will do well. Her performance as a touchie has been scrutinised more than any other touch judge for years, purely because she is female. I personally cannot name any other touch judge, let alone know how many forward passes they have missed.
I know the interest will be high when she debuts as an NRL ref, but I hope the novelty soon wears off and she can just be allowed to do her job like any other referee.
