Just to play devil’s advocate, those shooting down this “theory” have no “proof” it didn’t happen that way either. Personally, until I hear a statement from Daniel Anderson himself (and a full statement – not just some snippet taken out of context for which the media is well versed) declaring he had total control over all decisions regarding recruitment & retention, team selections and players’ contract negotiations, I do not know what to believe.

People tend to gloss over the man’s coaching record too. 2010 was a very uncharacteristic season for coach Daniel Anderson. It was either just an off year or something was just not right in the place.

Anyway, we may never know the real truth. It’s time to move on and get behind the new coach and this year’s team. Go the Eels!
