Without reading posts how could anyone even suggest that idea. I have seen our halves open gaps for our rampaging forwards to score tries they just need to get their heads right to set it up more often. If they don't get someone that can it is not that hard.

Unfortunately the mans best days are well and truly behind him , in fact they were after he left the Sea Eagles . But Dessie had a lot to answer for paying him what he did when he was suffering with chronic knee problems .

In short we don’t need him here at the Dragons - hopefully we can begin the new season with a team of players who are injury free and also who have their eye on the main prize .

To be honest he tries harder than some of our team have this year but there is next to no upside to him at this stage of his career. It's clear the dogs can see this which is why he's being shopped around for a desperate team like the titans or us to bite at.

I think he is on a mil a season at Canterbury. They would only be looking to offload him, because he is so injury prone. When he is on the field, he still is a very good player.

29 , injury prone, play him where and whats he on ?
If they are paying 500k, thats great, but it leaves another 3-400k . No ?
He signed some massive deal whilst Dezzie and Raelene were there.
Manly will pick him up and Des will again have his preferred halves combination of Foran and Cherry-Evens. How Des fits Foran under the cap for yeas 3-4 will be the challenge.

Yes we have a couple of top earners in Norman and Hunt however, we don't have the 2m dollar Turbo brothers and an underpaid pack of forwards who will be asking for an upgrade in pay.

We need 2 big fast quality wingers a quality fullback and a good centre
Sorry a good Coach
Let Aitkin Lafai Ravawala Pearson Field and Dufty go
Ravalawa and Pearson are cheapies. Let's see how they finish the season. At worst, I keep them as backup in reserve grade. The others can go. Replacing Aitken, Lafai and Dufty may be done partly from internal promotion:
  • Lomax for Dufty - I believe Lomax can develop into a good fullback
  • Pearson to stay for the rest of the season - maybe he can develop into a left winger
  • Sailor for Lafai - Sailor has all the skills
  • Ravalawa for Aitken - I believe with a good coach Ravalawa could be a great centre
  • Saab on the right wing - Saab has all the skills just needs the opportunity

We need RCG or Arrow to replace De Belin/Graham and maybe a good centre/fullback if things don't work out in with the proposed backline.

I think that if we get a new coach soon the following players will take a few steps up for season 2020:
Leilua
Ford
Blacker

Still no official announcement on Robson and Timm. Souths have confirmed the signing of Masters.

$2K match day payment (when he plays) and a piping hot on the outside, frozen center meat pie win bonus from the Kogarah canteen... If he agrees to this then it's a big yes from me. Because that's about all his worth at this point of his career.

No more man buns for me thanks. Was a consistently tough and good player but it seems that his body is telling him it’s had enough. So a no.
