Keiran Kerr Breaks his Leg

I heard a report this morning the Kerr has broken his leg, and will be out for a while. I cannot find any information anywhere with further details.
Hopefully it is not too bad, I think he is a good player for the Dragons.

...was that on the news Noodles?
Might explain why he wasnt listed in the trial team yesterday afternoon...I didn't know if the club made an error or not.

If its correct then its a tragedy for the bloke who missed a lot of footy last season because of injury.
It does, however, create an opportunity for Dean Byrne who was starting to look like the club's #3 half back.

It was on one of the morning TV shows - either Today Show or the one on 7.

There was also a story on Timmins coming back for round one too - he sounds keen for a big year (why wouldn't you !)

Willow there was an article in todays Telegraph in Sydney about Kerr falling over at traininig and bumping into one of his teammates and breaking bone in his leg and he will be out for 6-8 weeks
As for Dean Byrne he fractured his foot in First Division in the charity shield and is out for 4-6 weeks
So i am guessing Peters has first chance to impress while when both come back Kerr and Byrne will be playing half and 5/8 in first division trying to put pressure on Peters!

Thanks Benny.

...the club gave me the team details over the phone yesterday and this differed from the media releases...the news about Kerr explains a lot.

Gees, they should drink more milk...but jokes aside this is a real blow. Its been abundantly clear that Peters had these blokes breathing down his neck and I was of the opinion that this would bring out the best in the half backs.

Its not a sound situation if only one first grade half back is available for the next two months.

What's the money that he ran into Leikvole?

Willie Peters is the clubs greatest asset and it is good that most of Farrar's potentialy season destroying desicsions have been taken away from him.

I like Peters at half for now
Though ideally i'd like a fit Kerr at half and a fit Peters coming off bench last 20 minutes of each half and playing hooker and tearing teams apart!

This means Hornby will get a better look in as well now. Not my fave player I have to say.

Timmo can play anywhere... what if....
