KIEREN Jack, the AFL-playing son of rugby league great Garry Jack, said he is open to the possibility of joining the NRL.
Speaking on Triple M’s Grill Team this morning, the Swans co-captain said he would definitely consider making the switch if approached by an NRL club.
“You’d never say never, I tell you,” Jack said.
“I mean I loved rugby league as a kid, I certainly did but I’ve found a path in AFL and I’m rapt with that, but I mean I can certainly see why players do it ... it’s certainly a big challenge and there is a bit of a financial reward there but the challenge it offers these players … it can be really rewarding.”
Jack then added: “I’ll just say yes ... yes ... why not?”

He's an interesting thought, he is a gun in AFL, runs all day, but could he handle the defensive side? Certainly has the breeding.

Just noticed I have spelt his name wrong in the thread heading, apologies.

What makes you think he would even consider coming to the tigers besides being the son of the guy Ian Roberts belted.
We have enough “legends“ offspring running around already.

if he can put on the 40kgs necessary to get his weight up to around the 90kg mark, it might work.

didn't have a falling out with Garry. I figured that was a large reason why he never chose the League path and I dare say it'd be a large reason why he wouldn't join WT

Unless it's a very recent falling out, no.
They're pretty close AFAIK.

This is the sort of thing WT would do, sign him up for big money on a multi year deal with no idea whether he'll even be FG standard.

He is 78 kg and 178cm tall. So he wouldnt need much more size.
I wouldnt even have a clue what position would even suit him ? Good for 40/20's I suppose ;)

This is never going to happen...it is just a hypothetical comment based on a AFL player whose dad happened to play league at the highest level.
