He was on radio yesterday saying he's after a contract. If Dykes is really coming back I'd would say he's a goner.

No way Gunna will the sharks let him go unless he comes in with an over the top contract.The form he's shown lately should keep him in good stead especially with the sharks buying someone like Covell, if they want someone like him surely they would splash out with some dollars for Kent who I rate a far better longer term proposition than Covell, Kent can play anywhere in the backline as he's shown us already.

If Dykes slots in at 5/8.. McGoldrick better start performing, because Kent is loading the pressure on him. Kent should not be on the wing.

I'll take Kent in the centres before McGoldrick.
My feelings for the ability of McGoldrick have been well stated and lately I have taken more notice of what he gets up to during the game and i have to say he does do a lot of tackling, whether that has to do with opposition teams aiming at him I don't know, but he is very pedestrian in attack. Now that i have foxtell digital i'll be aiming my "sports active" at him and see just how much he does but on observation alone I'd say Kent would offer a lot more in attack than McGoldrick,IMO
