Im starting to grow warm to seeing and hearing about kettle bells, i havnt used them myself, but they seem like a good tool to use to mix up your workouts.

Anyone use them? How you find them?

I think Kettlebell swings are a great exercise. Haven't tried much else.

Nothing beats the barbell though IMO.

They are a regular at the gym I go to. I like them cause they are very versatile.

We have them at work but I'm not a huge fan of them.....I've used them a little bit and they are effective but yeah I'll stick to dumbbells less chance of injury imo.

They are a good mix up by providing a different challenge due to the unstable weight but imo, they are not a replacement for the good old fashioned dumbbell and bar.

As for their versatility, I have not found an exercise you can do with them that you cant do with a dumbbell

I was going to get some in particular to mix up my workouts with things like power cleans and deadlifts, i could change for a month to doing cleans and swings with kettle bells, with the goal in mind of just keeping it fresh and abit different.

Had alook at them yesterday in Rebel Sports, they are quite expensive.
