Word is the sharks are after Kris Keating. Trent Hogkinson is going to the dogs so we must be a fair chance of getting Keating. Eels wouldnt be able to offer the same cash.

Keating may not be that much of a chance.

Hodkinson's signature comes after the Bulldogs failed to lure Parramatta half Daniel Mortimer to the club that made his surname famous.


His halves partner at the Eels, Kris Keating, was also on Canterbury's radar but has said he is keen to stay put.

I think we will land LOD, a Michael Lett type fringe player and a bunch of 20s. I don't expect much but I also don't think we need much. I'd kill for a new 7 to pair with Kelly next year though...

Signings are almost at a halt everywhere until the Melbourne stuff is worked out.

Whos stays where depends on how many players Melbourne have to release, and how much other clubs will pay them.

For example, if Penrith pick up one of the big four then they have to say goodbye to Gordon and a few others.

If they dont, then Gordon can stay.
