Kevin Moore

He held our great club back two years. The club went down under his leadership and now Des Hasler is taking us back to where we should of been in 2010. Kevin Moore was only there because of his last name and this cost us two years.

Whats done is done. He just couldn't get the discipline into the team that is required, and ultimately that was his downfall. Des has a lot of work ahead of him, but I am enjoying the ride thus far.

saturdays performance was the best performance ive seen from the doggies for 2 seasons

There were some real good games, especially in the early part of the season last year. This weeks game was more about how bad the Dragons played, I don't think we played all that much better than we did the week before, just got handed the ball a lot more in good position.

A good test will be next week against the Warriors who look really good. Every time they hit up the ball, they were getting 10 metres and then some at times. While the Eels were lucky to get 7 metres. It's a big battle that our forwards need to get up for, cause the Warriors backline is heaps better than ours.

I don't agree about last year. While we were 3-0 after three rounds last year we were never really challenged by any of those opponents (Tigers, Souffs, Rorters from memory) and we were never convincing either.

Saturday, as FOTM said - best team performance I've seen from the boys in the best part of two or three seasons.

I think people are a bit harsh on Moore. His results weren't fantastic (except 09 which was sensational) but he really helped steady the ship after the whole bag of poo we went through in 08. He firmed up our clubs ethos and I reckon he was exactly the sort of person (if not coach) we needed in charge.

Maybe (and probably) he doesn't have the coaching talent that Hasler has, but he didn't shit on us and he is still someone I respect.

I remember when Kevin Moore first came in, immediately thought more of the same. According to SportsToday we were in the hunt for Stephen Kearney at the same time - we certainly dodged a bullet there.

We had an ordinary season in 2010, yet I cannot remember any talk of the coach to be replaced. I don't believe he held our club back anymore than Folkes.

Kevin Moore will go down as the worst coach in the history of Canterbury Bankstown.

Des Hasler will go down as the best ever

Really? Even though he pretty much had the team win the minor premiership in his first season in charge?

I like the fact Moore cleaned house and brought a bit of pride back to Canterbury. He might have been a rubbish coach but I respect his passion for the club.

Exactly. He had a pile of turd and managed to put some polish on it.

We bought Hannant, Ennis, Morris, Stagg and Kimmorely (hardley a pile of turd) in quick succession in order to achieve quick success whilst the club is rebuilding. This ploy worked to some extent and Moore deserves some credit for the quick turnaround.
