WE KEEP hearing that former Australia, Queensland and Broncos five-eighth Kevin Walters has all but secured the coaching job with French side Catalans in the Super League. If he lands the gig, he will replace Mick Potter, who has joined St Helens. Walters was a key part of Kangaroos coach Ricky Stuart's support staff during Friday night's Centenary Test.

I have no idea what he'd be like, but anyone who has been involved with Wayne Bennett seems to go alright.
