I have just included Kevin in my hardmans list (over 81 players now)

I am chasing stories, pics etc for inclusion within the site.

I thought Ward played in the 87 gf, not 78?? Was in league week a couple of weeks ago from memory.

Great site by the way, always a good read and stroll down memory lane

It was a mistake on my part.... Ive just gone outside and given myself an uppercut.

thanks again, Ive amended the post but can't do the title, maybe a kind Mod might change it for me

Done Quigs!
On Ward, I don't think anyone was going to take away the title from us in 1987 but Wardies performance in the GF really sums up his footy career....clinical, tough, at times unstoppable and when he tackled you, you knew it big time!

ah yes...kevin ward. Rex Mossop loved him apart from the fact that he called him Phil???

One of the toughest to play the game. Him and Gibbs were lethal together.
