Joey had a technique problem before he trained with Halligan.
I always reckoned if he got the first one he woulf get most during the game, but if he missed the first one he would be lucky to get one.
Once he trained with Halligan he could go back to square one if he missed one and he was fine if he missed the first.
He went from a mid 60s percentage in his early career to a low 80s percentage after he sorted that out.

But Joey WAS kicking at 80-85% over the past couple of seasons (that was probably after the training with Halligan). It took him awhile to get his career average up over 70%.
