Why is Lumby employed by the NRL? They haven't released what was said, and importantly what the context to the conversation was. What did Bourbon Bec do to him? If this all happened, was she reaming Foran as she was wont to do, on his family crisis for example.
So here you have Lumby criticising publically the body she works for and yet it seems she too doesn't have any evidence of the alleged conversation. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you and being convicted by a media haram jury.
Whilst I don't think highly of Foran, mainly for what he did to the Eels; Lumby is a whole different story.
She sounds like one of these crazy leftist man hating creatures. And the NRL obviously employ her as an 'adviser' to keep the calls of 'patriarchy!' and 'misogyny!' at bay.
This woman called for Pearce to never play in the NRL again, and for what? Having a laugh and getting drunk in the privacy of someone's home!
It's the outrage machine and political correctness gone completely mad. It's infected every institution, the NRL included.
That being said, I can't condone Foran's actions in messaging a dying woman IF that is what happened because as of now we've only got a baseless accusation.
Bec Wilson was a vile human being and the most stellar example of hypocrisy you'll find - and the act of dying doesn't change that - as much as Lumby would like to glorify her 'legacy'.
But still, I just hope Foran wasn't aware that she was on her deathbed. Which is possible because it blindsided most of us I believe.
