Kimmorley/Mullen Combo

Hey all just quick question... Mullen really has only played along a real halfback for a couple of games since he made FG (Joey before he retired) I would like to see him play outside another good halfback and thats why I hope both him and Kimmorley get picked for Origin 3.

I think the game against Melbourne was his worst effort yet and it seemed he was trying just too hard. I think it doesnt let him play his natural game if he has to dominate everything... I think he will shine next to a genuine halfback who knows what he is doing.

Furthermore I think any of those halfback opitions being named will not be the answer because they wont dominate the game to allow Mullen to play his natural game. I would love to see Stacy Jones do a crazy and end up at Newy for one season I think it would help Mullen develop like crazy!

Poor old Stacy has played one season too many, been pretty average this year.

i would love this!!
and it would greatly benefit mullen too
so he can be the one learning off someone who has done so much in the game
and to learn off an experienced head
and maybe take the halfback position for origin next year with soward/campese

I still dont think Mullen should play halfback... Everyone knows it however I cant see why BSmith keeps persisting... I understand halfback/5/8th is very similar in the modern game but Mullen is a classic 5/8th in the Lewis/Fittler/Daley build...

I also think Mullen should have been given a SOO berth. But not this year.
