he said he should be right for selection for origin 3. im sure he will play and kearney will drop to the bench. thats if dykes plays. if he does play i hope he plays the style the sharks are playing, not the role he wants to play.

If he rushes the injury he will just f**k it up again.

Funny yesterday he was a month away but we win again and he will be ok for next week?

he ran for the first time today and pulled up fine so they want to fast track a return, possibly as a precaution to the chance of dykes not playing.

'If it ain't broke don't fix it.'

Or in the case of the Sharks - 'Now that it's fixed, don't break it again.'

If Dykes is injured, Latu to half. He would seriously slot into our attack better than BK.

IMO you could afford to put latu into 5/8 if dykes is injured (and kearney to half) because dykes kicking game has been really good !!
although, kearneys kicking game couldnt make up for dykes. there for IMO your better off getting a half or 5/8 from premier league (be it russ or hilder..) so you do have both kearney who wont be under pressure the hole time but there will be two players that can kick.
i may be wrong, i just cant recall a kick from latu at all..
kingstons a top kicker though :p

Spoke to him briefly at the game on Sunday and he said he should be ok next week. He seemed to be walking ok without a noticeable limp.

I hope his ignorance brings him back next week and he f**ks the injury up again and puts him out for the season, that'll do me.:D

I know he's probably only responding to certain questions, but is it just me, or does anyone else cringe when Kimmorley even mentions playing Origin?

This from 'breakingnews' on the SMH site:

Meanwhile Cronulla halfback Brett Kimmorley resumed training after several weeks out due to an ankle injury.

Kimmorley is hopeful of returning to the paddock next weekend, igniting a possible return for NSW State of Origin during this year's series.

I like Bk but seriously, is he for real?
I hope the journo is putting words in his mouth, because surely the guy would be more worried about how his team has improved the moment he left than playing at the highest level of rep football.
Has anyone ever been chosen for SOO from PL?

The same story also stated Matthew Head is out for another 6 weeks.
Dragoons gooonne for 2006.

Don't think so but either way Hill has a better chance of that happening than Noddy.
