Kimmorley certainly does not warrant selection on form when you compare the quality of football the other halfback's were playing. Gower was the standout halfback all year.
In regards to your second point how does one obtain big game experience, when their form warrants it yet the coach picks some one who has performed in the past. Sterlo performed very well for Australia for a long time why did we ever get rid of him? The only way the get experience is to play when you deserve to. It cheats the public when the coach selects his mates. :roll:
The lasting memory I have of Kimmorley is against the dragons. Throwing an intercept pass to Saleh and after about 10 yards of chasing giving up, what happens if he throws another intercept against the Poms in the 3rd Test, game tied, series tied will he just throw his head back and gives up again.....top bloke![/quote]
