LOL he hates the Dragons with a lot of passion, check out his latest article, not once praised the Dragons basically saying Roosters lost due to dodgy calls and Aitken "milking" a penalty.......

He contradicts himself saying that

"Clearly Trent Robinson had a few things to be unhappy about at full-time but he was especially incensed by young Euan Aitken lying down and milking a penalty after a bit of high contact."

Then

"It should be up to the on-field guys to decide straight away if a tackle’s illegal or not and that will stop players from staying down."

well i'm not sure what game he was watching but the penalty was blown way before he 'laid' down

In general dragons fans are like a chick with severe PMS the second they think someone in being derogatory about their club.

no we are not.

how dare you say that?? you've never been supportive of us, no matter how hard we work on improving ourselves.

i don't know why we bother?? why don't we just give up now and go our separate ways??

you're just more interested in your own club. what do they have that we don't? is it the coach? is the the fact he has hair and ours doesn't? if he got a wig would that make him happy?

and what's the go with your team playing out of such a shabby stadium? why don't they clean that up? do you expect us to come in here and do that as well? we have to do EVERYTHING for this damn competition.

it's just. NOT. FAIR!!!

i've seen the way you look at other clubs. why don't you ever show us the same level of courtesy & respect?

i'm sorry. i don't know what came over me.

let's have a cuddle.

and could you get me some ice cream?

Jeer squad spurns Noddy
League Week's annual players' poll this week asked 100 NRL stars who they would least like their clubs to sign. Five of them said Wayne Carey. But perhaps the most interesting survey of the season involves the Manly cheer squad, which tackles the big issues in a questionnaire on the club's Web site. Asked who they "would never share a bed with", the 17 cheerleaders came up with a range of answers, including Brett Kimmorley, John Hopoate, Mario Fenech, Steve Irwin (the crocodile hunter, not the Brisbane fullback), Marilyn Manson and Silverchair singer Daniel Johns. If marooned on a desert island, the most popular choice of partner would be either MacGyver or Ryan Girdler, who was also nominated as the NRL player with the best body. The worst body belongs to either Kimmorley, Hopoate, Allan Langer, Shane Webcke, Michael Buettner, Danny Williams or Braith Anasta. Perhaps they're just upset with "Noddy" Kimmorley for leaving.

The sharks cut Preston. Selectors pick rep teams.

Can't really blame Brett for those.

The commentary though, that's all his.

Chris Anderson getting him picked in rep teams when he probably didn't deserve it.

Constantly putting in rubbish performances on big occasions I.e origin, big semi finals etc

Complete mercenary who would leave a club for 5c more a year.

Coming to cronulla who had got within a bees dick of the GF, replacing the current Dally M medal winner and crowd favourite then producing absolute shite to see the team nowhere near the finals. Preston Campbell was released and went onto win a Comp with penrith the next year.

Otherwise he comes across as a decent guy.

He was pretty good in 2002 for the Sharks, I think that's the year they hammered the Knights with Johns by 60+ points and he got 10/10 from RLW. The Sharks got close to the Grand Final that year.

If he'd just hung around a few more years, cash wouldn't have been an issue.
Might have even got a boat out of it.

I approve of this post.

Storm fans can't comprehend a player leaving a club for more money. 'What? Why didn't you just say pay me more?'

Kimmorley is one of, if not the worse commentators I have ever heard.

When he makes a statement, he says it in the tone of someone asking a question. Combined with the whiny voice, it sounds like he's pleading the other commentators to agree with him.

It couldn't be more obvious who he's going for in each game.

And the stammering stuttering. Oh, the stammering stuttering. T-T-T-T-Today junior!

Beat me to it - at Storm fans feeling hard done by...

For most, I think the dislike at Kimmorley is more about the charmed life he seemed to have with his common-law partner as Aust coach (and influential elsewhere)

Bloody good halfback imo

Brett definitely had a reputation for his work ethic. You could see it in his kick-chase which IMO was the best of all time.
I often wonder what could have been if not for injuries. People regard players like Lockyer, Slater, Lewis, Sonny Bill and langer and johns as being the best players of all time (depending on who you ask). But if not for injuries and bad luck perhaps we'd be talking about other players like Tom Kimmorley and even the young black boy Johns spoke spoke about in his biography as being the best player he ever played with.

Owen Craigie? He said he had more natural talent than anyone he'd seen. But as the saying goes, hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard. Craigie was lazy and never worked on his game instead relying on his natural talent. He chubbed out and ended up being a punchline.
