If Cherry was wearing the red v and Ben Hunt was wearing the maroon and white in the game against Manly at Brookie, we win easily. That is not saying that Ben isn't a great player, he Definitely is. However, he plays his best when the game management is left to someone else in his team, like DCE for QLD and Ben just opens up his running and "dozer" game.
That's exactly my point
If cherry red V . Dragons win

Read somewhere and fully agree that Gutho would not like the commute from Manly to the Gong. Move the operation back to StGeorge territory and it could help with recruitment. That plus move the present GM of football out of the club completely and permanently.
guess it depends
If the club is based in Kogarah - getting Sydney based players (or even Wollogong based) isn't such an issue with travel
If the club is based in Wollongong you might be able to recruit based on lifestyle and lower living costs than Sydney

They could build a fine establishment on the land between the oval and princess Hwy.
they build a tunnel (and a gun new scoreboard) attached and train on the hollow ground of Kogarah as a true St. George team should.
You could even build a grandstand over looking the ground for general admission

Lugarno is a lovely place to live , many footballers have lived around there for the past few years , Aaron Woods , Scott Sorensen , Matt Dufty , Issac Luke , young Mitch Woods from the Bulldogs , Sean Keppie
Is Lugarno in our district? Or dogs?

The NRL has ambitions for Saints to move to Wollongon completely and give up local Sydney junior territory to be shared between Souths, Canterbury and Cronulla.

We should resist it at all costs. Why not get the Gordons and Twiggy to do a joint venture development, starting with the purchase of Kograh Oveal from the local council?

Elon Musk should take over and build a new offshore stadium complex on a hovercraft platform just off the coast. We can move our home ground whenever we are in Townsville or Brisbane or Melbourne. For games in Canberra or Penrith or Parra, we would hover over their CBDs and bring their supporters on board with a tractor beam. Bulldogs supporters could find their own parking and suit themselves.

Twiggy would build it over the Princess Highway, with big Squdron Energy signs visible to traffic traveling under the complex.
