He’ll be sht if his wolfpack form is anything to go by, at season end, in hindsight, his market value is likely To be two packets of tim-tams.

This. The only thing I’m holding out for is that his form was shit in a shit team and that Robbo might get a Morris brothers-type resurrection out of him.

God I hope he signs with the roosters just to see the meltdown on this forum. Wolfpack form was shit and at 35 he won’t keep up with the speed of the game. And to be fair without Mitchell and Cronk the roosters just an average team who will finish in the bottom 4 of the 8. Looking at their team it’s the one year they actually look under the cap... so far.

So we let dickheads with more money than sense dictate players’ values? Milford really is a million dollar player then and that’s what his next club has to pay?
Hey Uncle Nick has paid overs at times too.

So this players values are, help a successful Sydney club more than a struggling Kiwi one who made it so all can play.

Doubt money is the problem.

Values as you say.

He will be fine, cleary knows what it is to be in struggling team. Is hard when you are one of few good players, when the other team has all good players.

Take the easy road. Josh did, was not money.

Mine....we need someone who can follow our game plan of passing it to a forward to crash over the line or most likely getting a hospital pass..

Reversing your decision is incorrect & explicitly not allowed in the rulebook.

Also- trainers making chargedowns.

Massive asterisk.

Ah, the great Raiders were Robbed myth makes another appearance.
If the refs hadn't been distracted by the charge down hitting the Rooster's trainer, they would have blown a penalty to the Roosters for blatantly taking out the kicker's legs and also sent Soliola to the Sin Bin.

The only incorrect six again call (by the NRL' s own admission) was the one immediately before Canberra's try. Facts don't fit the narrative though, do they?

As I said up thread, do you seriously think SBW would have signed for the Warriors in the current circumstances had the Roosters not made him an offer?

Hard as you squeal about them, those aren't facts though. Everyone saw it. Clutching at straws. Anyway I hope 35 year old Bill lifts your fortunes this year.

The Roosters overcame heaps of poor decisions to win that grand final.

Something significant happened in Robbo's grand final match press conference. Cronk's sin binning was a BIG moment in the match. One of the greatest ever players, in his final match, in a grand final gets controversially sin-binned. A journalist (Brent read?) admits in this press conference that he didn't think it should have been a sin bin. Yet despite the momentous nature of the sin bin call and his opinion that it was the wrong call, he doesn't ask Robbo about it. He asks about the six again.

Why? The Roosters were good enough to defend the controversial decision against them. The Raiders on the other hand let a team go 80m to score a match winning try. And that's the difference between a premiership winning team and pretenders. If you can't defend those moments then you don't deserve to be premiers

Even when everything was going the Raiders way, I still knew the Chooks would find a way to win. Never count out the Raiders to Fade late in games.

How did/will SBW get an exemption to play in NRL coming from a country with active community transmission of Covid-19 and the 4 players families couldn't come from NZ with no Covid-19 transmission???

He will likely just have to isolate for 14 days, I'm guessing he may have a dual Australian citizenship as well, so is "returning home"

wiki -
Williams was born on 3 August 1985, in Auckland, New Zealand, the son of a Samoan father, Ioane ("John") Williams and Lee Williams (née Woolsey), a Pākehā (Anglo-Celtic New Zealander) is half-New Zealander and half-Australian.

He doesn’t have dual citizenship but his wife and kids have Australian citizenships. He does have to isolate for 14 days. He’ll need at least 2 weeks to train and get up to speed with the game as well, which is why he won’t play many games in the end and it’s why a bottom eight side is unlikely to get his services.
