Cronulla only have Newtown to thank for that one Bluebag, as he was only retained as a Newtown player this season, and was on the Newtown payroll. Sharks management in their usual sensibility didnt want him, and he would not have been retained. In fact he was told that only months ago.

Now due to injury as there was no-one else they were forced to give him a run, and he is carving the opposition up. Really makes you wonder what their selectors are actually doing...

Good thing that Newtowns training and expert coaching tactics in Col MURPHY were able to easily slot him into first grade, although their is such a grand canyon of difference between the two comps!!!!

Funny how the makeshift lot were winning games at begining season you have a short memory, of the last 7 games we have lost 5 with Kingston. Hilder & Sully have been injuried. Give me a break

Have you actually been watching the games?

Gibson has been a standout, even in losing teams, while opposition players have been running all over Sullivan.

We obvisously read games differently. Don't get me wrong I like the guy but I hate the berating of players that have done just a good job over longer periods. See how we go this week-end.

If Sullivan plays a minimalist role, then I'm sure we might be in with half a chance.

Some people must get a bit blind down the footy or it takes a few a bit longer to realise we finally have a specialist hooker.

Jo Ryan of most those losses he has been the shining light.

I agree new blood is good, but lets all get positive about the rest, they all had to make first grade at sometime, I agree with Dread, Sully on in short bursts. I would put Hilder at 13 and Gallen at 11 to take the ball up. But I think you can intergrate Gallen Kingston Hilder & Sully and get some fine results. Anyhow new ball game this week. Lets hope we can be competitive that's the main thing.
