Kite set to fly?

I'm hearing a persistent rumour that Brent Kite is keen to depart Manly at the end of this season?
Has anyone at Manly heard anything similar? When does his current contract end?

let him go hes been playing like a grandma all year. Manly forwards other than Watmaough and rose have been pathetic all year.

I'm not sure about that. He and his family are settled here on the Northern Beaches, I'd be surprised if he actually wanted to leave. It is possible however, the club are making some noises along the lines of moving him on. Afterall he isn't an automatic starter these days.

In any case, if he did move on it might free up enough money to get Sam Burgess to the club.

Kite's contract ends in 2011 if I recall correctly & Manly are looking to sign Sam Burgess from 2011 onwards. Would make sense if that is the case.
