Really? source? Didnt know Samoans can turn out for Tonga :sarcasm: And you havent heard about Tuiaki, especially since he was leading try scorer when it happened, I think he was the form winger then to......

It was a couple of years ago (2206 maybe?) when the ARL organised a game between Tonga and Samoa in sydney where both teams were made up of players at NRL clubs. It was an official test match too, which is bizarre. Roberts definitely played for Tonga.

Didn't know about Tuiaki 'cos I'm in England.

If its was an official test match, how come it is not on any of his profiles? and in 2006 Ben Roberts was in the kiwi's! do you have any official source?

Can't remember the exact year, but it was around that time. Am certain it was an offical game. The ARL organised it, and claimed it was done on behalf of the two governing bodies.

Will have a look around for the exact details, but I'm sure he was reported as playing.

All good and well you coming up with a squad to back your claims but what source(website) did it come from? I wont believe a Samoan played for tonga in an official test match against Samoa with no back-up. Also RLIF rules state you can only switch allegence once between world cups, since the last 1 before 2008 was in 2000 so that means he switched twice with out a problem? rubbish mate, Come on shouldnt be hard since you have a squad there.

I remember when this happened this is just some bullsh*t game ARL drummed up - surely not a certified test match.
Basically similar to Auckland Samoan Vs Auckland Tongans vs Aucklad Cookies.
These teams were ones which were dreamed up the actual team which took the field was totally different.
Roberts is samoan and Aaron Cannings is a cook islander.

Funniest is Chan Ly is cambodian. Might from the Ghetto but sure he is not samoan.
