I miss read that as Stan Sport and was getting excited as it's a much better app than Foxes Kayo over here in Oz.

Agree @WellsNZ I was always bemused by people wanting Sky gone and then chuckled to myself when the same people started whinging about streamers getting sport.

I’ve never had any complaints about Sky tbh, happy to pay $20 a week for a decent service that shows plenty of content over the different sports I want to see

the ridiculous thing for the cricket rights is that you can go onto the TAB website and live stream the coverage for free

The segmentation has forced Foxtel to become more flexible in Aus, which is cheaper *for some* at least (maybe for all - though much less content obviously - I don't know, I don't have their full service, just Kayo - the sport segmented streaming service).

It's worked out for me, as I pay for very few streaming services (literally just Kayo, plus the non-sport Netflix because my mother & partner watch it - ed: actually I have a grandfathered cheap NFL gamepass deal also)... but I have a mate who now pays for all of them.

Stan Sport for Super Rugby, Kayo/Fox for NRL, Paramount+ for A-League, Optus Sport for Premier League, Gamepass for NFL... lol.

Funny they don't do a delayed playing of the games on other "Free to air" channels anymore.
You would think the owner of the rights could make some money off that?
Also funny a labor government wouldn't put that into some kind of law. Nationally important games eg World cups etc across all sports.

I love SKY, always have. Yeah, their streaming services have been a bit shit but I think current management have worked on rectifying that? With the box, I MySky any sport I want (I rarely watch sport in real time now) and fast forward with ease. Bloody nightmare doing that on streaming services. And I dunno, for me I just like the remote and the box. I avoid having a phone or a laptop to distract me when I'm watching sport

So you're telling me, I can watch the England cricket Tests on the TAB site? How?

Yeah I love the convenience of an overnight record and a flick through in the morning

not sure if it will be available on overseas tests, but you just log in on the website or app and there is a box in the top corner that says watch and bet, click on that and you have the coverage

Bloody legend, play this clip to the lads before they run out against the Tongan Turncoats. RIP Q
I never liked him as a player - mainly because aside from NZ he always played for teams I dislike... but I can imagine he was incredibly popular with team mates.

Incredibly sad that he passed away so young, bowel cancer got my old man too - I shed a tear when reading about Quentin, it shouldn't happen

Sorry to hear about your old man, it’s an absolute shit of an illness. Just been reading about 1 of NZs best speedway drivers being given 3 months to live with bowel cancer at the age of 34 with a 4 month old daughter, absolutely heartbreaking

Absolute legend.

I collect signed cards of Raiders players. I'm lucky enough to have 4 signed Pongia cards in my collection. Two in the Raiders jersey, and two in the kiwis jersey. They were hard to come by, and obviously he won't be signing anymore so I treasure them.

You're right. They should play that for the boys before they rip into those traitors.

Origin selections will be interesting - Staggs, Tupou, and perhaps a couple of others... what happens then?
