In the rorters v saints game yesterday very late in the game Howell for saints came in late with a knee to one of the rorters and was penalised for using knees in the tackle reported by the linesman. On the replay it looked a similar effort as Birds,the player was penalised but not on report.My question is if any one on this forum seen the game on tv and if yes did they see this incident. The game is on fox sports 2 right now so I am waiting to see it again only problem is I have to listen to goose gould

I noticed it.

While deliberate from memory it wasnt directed at the head and was more of a body blow (hopefully someone can confirm this). It probably should have come under some scrutiny but nothing has been said about it meaning it will most likely be forgotten.

... penalty was good enough for the game, but it should be given a closer look.
